im new here and was wandering how much it would cost to create a small village of around 12 houses, possibly with a wall around?
does anyhave an approximate cost if i got someone to do the whole thing for me?

Does the village involve natives being suppressed by whitemen? It could make a big difference in cost.

Look up Darkrose Village in 'find'. Come see what we have done. It has about 12 to 14 structures, and a wall could easily be emplaced.
Cost? About 8k of land (You do the math on that) 5k in textures (you do the math) Build time (varies) and creativity to not just throw 12 boxes with doors on the ground.
Come see... we will talk.
Or come hang out.. Darkrose village is a great place for victims... err visitors.

does anyhave an approximate cost if i got someone to do the whole thing for me? There is someone that has a village for sale for L$1 (not a typo). I got a copy a long time ago -- it is pretty nice. The village has a few buildings, trees, fountain, etc. I used it to better understand proportions and layouts for making my own structures. Unfortunately, I broke it but at L$1 -- not a big deal. You could probably use it as a starting point if you do your own building or just to see what others do. That village is pretty popular too - if anyone knows the creator's name or where to get it please reply. -2fast |

Thili Playfair is who you're thinking of. She has a vendor in furnation (I think, double check with find). She has two villages, one medeival and one oriental i believe for the same price of $1. (and many other rockin abodes as well)

I lived in one of Thili's L$1 Oriental Villages for several months. It was relatively nice. Three main buildings plus a seperate building with a large hot tub spa. It also had a stream and trees and prim landscaping. Quite a pleasant start, for next to nothing.
I have designed whole communities before. If you want to talk to me about commissioning a village, IM me in-world, and I can show you a couple sims that I built from scratch.
