Not sure if this is the right forum but here goes.........

I have NO knowledge of scripts, I DO however know how to copy and paste and some of the free scripts I have gotton are NOT working fo me.......for example, I toss a 'lay' or 'sunbathe' script inot a bed and I end up UNDER the bed that I have made.

What can i do about that? Did i make the root prim the wrong one. Should I put in the scipt before linking parts? Any help would be great :)

I am not even remotely a scripter, but poking around in the script might reveal a set of coordinates similar to <1,1,1> which are X, Y, and Z. Fiddling with these might change the height (Z I believe).

I know "flip titles" tend to work with the <1,1,1> settings to place themselves.

Have fun experimenting.

*Note, if you are upside down I'd recommend turning the prim instead of trying to figure out the rotation. =)

Yea, i would recommend first putting a script in a prim, and see how you end up and rotate the prim. And then build the other parts.

One way, if you can do this... before putting the script in the prim, make the prim sufficiently large so the edges appear outside of your av's body when you sit on it. Then, adjust live (direct feedback) to get the perfect rotation. It's easier than sitting and standing up repeatedly when finetuning.

Also, when in build mode don't forget how much click and drag rocks!
I lose things all the time, only to be saved by click-drag select!
