Hello,
Prior to getting involved in SL I was heavily involved in the use of panoramas for virtual navigation (remember QuickTimeVR?). I see an opportunity to use panoramas in the form of environment maps to create visually compelling spaces.

Have any folks out there come across panoramas in SL? If so, please point me to them. Thanks.

Cheers,
Doug

And fyi, this forum is for tips or questions on how to build. You may want to post this in products wanted.

Stephane Zugzwang sells an awesome "virtual reality" cube with various panorama sets. A link to his shop is in his in-world profile, and you can try out the VR cube there.

Edit: 'duh, that's what Sylvia was linking too. I should've read the whole thread before posting :o
