Before I spend my time trying to work this out have you got the answer already?
(A ballet shoe)
Sculpty inworld has stretch handles at 45 degrees or so. the prim is right way up at zero but at an angle. Obviously imported this way but was all square in Blender.
Resizing is a pain with the angled handles.
Ok, Ill just start again.. thanks.

When exporting from Blender make sure the Sculptie is the only mesh selected, otherwise the sizing and positioning is calculated from all selected meshes. This is intentional behaviour for doing animated sculpties. Also make sure any mesh modifications are done in edit mode. If you have transformed in object mode you will need to apply the scale / rotation transforms before baking the sculptie.
