Title pretty much explains, but I don't understand how I can get a object to play music from a audio stream (ie. 11.22.33.44:8000). Is this even remotely possible? Since i'd like this better than using Parcel Streaming Media so if I ever have a party with friends, speakers can use the stream to play music. Thanks!

An object cannot play a media stream. Only a parcel of land can do that.
What you can do is script an object to change the parcel's stream, so that your guests can adjust it, without having actual land rights. Think of the land as the stereo system, and the object as its remote control. Anyone with access to the remote can change the channel.

Look for a radio script in XStreetSL or ask in the Products Wanted forum. There are loads of them out there. You'll need to put the script in your object, if it doesn't come as a radio-looking object already, and then you'll need to deed it to the group that owns the parcel. Once you do that, it's just a matter of feeding the choices of streaming audio channels into the device, usually on a notecard. Then, as Chosen says, your guests will be able to change the parcel's audio stream by clicking through the radio's dialog choices.
