I would like to be able to take a house and other stuff out of my inventory and place it on someone's property, and then once everything looks good, make them the owner of it.

What do I need to do to make that happen?

Thanks In advance.

Once you have it all set up where you want it,you are going to have to set everything for sale seperatly. Its a slow job and is a pain in the arse.

The other thing you can do which may be slightly quicker, is to set everything up,then with the Edit window open,hold the left mouse button, and drag a box around the whole lot and take it to your inventory. Put it in a box, and set the box for sale. Once the new owner has it,tell them to drop it out, then grant you modify rights to thier objects.The you can drag it all into position in one move by using the yellow box again.

Hope that helps.

EDIT~ Remember to check the permissions incase you make the box copyable when you don't want that lol.

The land has to be set so you can rez objects on it. If it is, once you have each item set up, select each linkset, and edit its properties so it is for sale, original object, at whatever price you agree upon. It can be just L$1, if you want. They they clicl on it and 'buy' that item, and it becomes theirs.

Of course, you have to have the permissions already on the objects in quetsion to allow resale...

Not on a system with SL on it right now, so I can't verify that procedure any more closely. But that is how it works.

{edit} Meh. Lord Wishbringer answered it better while I was typing... LoL {/edit}
