This is a sort of reverse auction. I need a set of avatar clothing made, and if anyone is interested in making it, I'd appreciate a quote.

I need a set of clothing that can be worn by males or females, nothing terribly fancy. The outfit would be jeans and a tshirt and shoes, with distinctive colors/patterns so that people wearing these outfits will be easy to find in a crowd. This will be so that anyone seeing this set of clothing on someone will know they are with a certain organization.

I will need to be able to distribute the outfit for free to people who work on certain projects, so you should consider that in your pricing. These people will be asked not to wear the outfit when they're not working.

I will have to see at least a prototype of the outfit on an avatar before purchasing, because I do want to make sure it'll look nice before paying.

If you're interested, please let me know an estimated price, and also when you can have the prototype ready to see. I'd like to get this as soon as possible.

Thanks -
Kerstin

kerstin im sure you have a boatload of textures or atleast access to them , shouldnt take you more than a few min. to come up with something , god knows your imaginative enough ...why not just make them , will take you more time to track down all the prospective "outfitters" than it would to design it yourself :)
Just a thought from the person whom you dont speak to

Shouldn't take more than a few minutes unless she wants any kind of detailing in the uniform. Even something as simple as a belt can be a major pita to get lined up nicely.

I think she's wanting more than the clothing sliders can accomplish on a 'plain' texture -- but I could well be wrong =)

Kerstin, there's a nice pair of faded blue jeans for sale at the Av Center. I bought 'em myself. You could very easily adjust the color on them if you wanted to. I know I've seen a pair of sneakers as well, possibly also at the Av Center. The shirt probably would be fairly easy to do, depending on the amount of detail you're wanting on it, and whether you'd be wanting horizontal stripes on it <shudder>.

Thanks, Shebang. I really would prefer custom-made though, because this stuff is gonna be really special. And I've actually expanded on this, through a sekrit agreement made this week, so there will be several versions of the shirt. So whoever does it will have a little more work, but a lot more money. And guaranteed lots of advertising for their work.

I'm gonna bug some people tonight and see if I can get them to work on it.

:)
