how does one get to doing that?

or even big shoes....

lets say i wanna wear giant elevator shoes or something of the sort, so that im taller

attaching the shoes or stilts to my feet just cause them to go into the ground

how do iget by this?

do i need invisiprims or something?

or is there an AO or a hud or something so that i can walk tall?

also with giant avatars

i made large arms and legs out of prims...

how do i get the legs of the giant to go on me so that they dont go through the ground?

well hmm.. you COULD use invisiprims.. or you could use an animation that is offset enough to make you tall.. or just the tallest shoes are kinda tall (Kinda)..hmm....iono...scripts =P

Search for "Giants" and Mega-avatars. Also look at the "Grendel's Children" line of giant avatars.

In general, a giant requires an animation overrider that displaces your position so you to 'walk' in the air, somewhere in the giant's chest. Then a full-prim body has to be made, and attached to various parts of your actual avatar body, so the arms move when your arms move, etc.

It is NOT a trivial exercise to make an avatar that is much over eight feet tall. But I have seen and heard of some that are as big as 40 METERS in height! (That's one HUGE anthro husky dog!)

Good luck!

My husband has done several mega-avs. His are about 30 M high, but the principle is simple. Make your stilts, shoes or whatever in world and attach them to your feet or lower leg depending on what is needed. Then you need an animation to place you high enough in the air to take your feet out of the ground.

Animations aren't too difficult for this, and can be done yourself in several free programs. Keep in mind when you are lengthening an appendage a small movement looks huge in the animation. So instead of doing an animation with bigger steps, you actually need smaller movements.

Good Luck!
