Best way to change Group on land and buildings??

Okay...here is my problem and situation. I've had a Group for a while now for my land development company. Recently, I decided I wanted to create a couple of groups as I'd like to better organize my holdings and use one lot/commercial property for event rentals. In doing so, I'd like to change the Group on a couple of large lots with many structures/prims (btw...I am the sole owner of this Group). What is the best way of doing this?? There doesn't seem to be an easy way to just switch the Group.

The new group is to own the parcel and everything on it? I believe the following should work, but listen here for other opinions, in case I missed something.

Wear the group tag for the new group. Set the parcel for sale only to yourself, and to include all objects on the parcel. Buy the parcel from yourself. I believe that will set all the items to having you as owner and the group tag that you are wearing as the group. Now deed the parcel to the group, if that is your intent. That sets the land as owned by the group.

Now, if the group needs to actually own the items, and not just be 'set to group', you may also need to select the items and deed them to the group.

Note that the above procedure might not transfer all Linden Plants that are on the parcel. You will likely find that you'll have to set the group and deed them individually.

CAUTION: If you are right at your tier limit, and if the parcel is currently deeded to a group, buying the land from yourself as stated above might push you over tier limit. This is because a group can own 10% more land than it has tier to support it. In that case you may want to get the concierge or the Linden in charge of Land to assist you.
