it is a mathematic question and a question of how many prims you will use for it.

you also can use tools like ringmaker or sinilar.

How many prims do you want to dedicate to achieving perfection?

thanks for the responses, i tried a few of them, shape gen seems working better, still you don't get a smooth one, if you increase the number of prims then you end up with other problems, for example when i tried to increase the number of prim, it only rezzed a half ring, another question; lets say if i had a big cylinder using one of those tools, how would you fill its top and bottom without texture fighting, i kind of have an idea i ll see if it works using the alpha textures to cut edges, any better idea?:)

if texture alignment matches, z fighting won't be noticeable

yes, or more correctly, any shape you can make, since you can change the shape of megas just not their size, so you are limited to what sizes ar avalable.... sor example, there is no 20x20x20, so you can't make a 20m sphere
