Just a simple question, what size does the background image have to be and does it have to be a JPG? I have tried trial and error but had no luck.

The info on the Rokuro website says that the background image must be JPG format. I just did some qiuick tests and everything from a small 100x60 image to a large 1280x1024 image worked for me.
