Any Final Fantasy fans?

I used to be a big fan of the final fantasy series, with FF7 being my favorite.
I though it would be cool to do a final fantasy theme. There are enough screenshots and movies that show the environment, and I'm willing to do the shitty job of making the textures :D
Things I was thinking about: shinra reactor, shinra building, scale model of midgar, Temple of the ancient, Juno, the airship, Gold Saucer.... basically we could do anything that brings back memory from FF7.
Just reply if you feel insterested... if we have enough people we might be able to get some sponsored room in the new SIM's.

Other games that would be cool to do: Zelda, Mario, etc. etc., any game that I've played and loves, but it has to be a game that is known by many people...

If a lot (and I mean A LOT) of people like the idea of doing a 'classic' game theme, we could make it like a theme-park with theme's from diffrent games, as big as one SIM.

themes along a final fantasy, zelda, or any other such line sound great! my only hesitation would be problems with copywright...

I was working on a "airship" based loosely on the fact I had been playing ff9 at the time, I will agree that 7 r0x0rs though. I have been 1/2 through scritping it for about 4 months now, but its hanging over my place on welsh. I've seen a few buster swords out there too.

So What games do you guys think we could do best???

I vote for FF7
second is Zelda

Copyright issues??? We will be making our own models and textures I think, and we don't resell them... It's not illigal to built a fan-site, so I don't think this will be a problem.

I agree, 7 was definetly the best Final Fantasy. I want to make a Highwind and fly around cid style.:cool:

I love FF :D
My fav is 8 tho, well only cause it was my first, (worked backwards thru the series after that ehehe) I tried making a shiva outfit from ffX, but her hair was a pain, hehe. But I love ff7 too. Id be glad to help, ;)
