I am thinking about designing a structure where you can walk on the walls and ceiling just as you would the floor. I am at a complete loss. Does anyone have any pointers on how to do this?

I have no clue how to do this but I'd like to play such a game. It'd be kewl, walking with magnetic boots on the ceiling, even. Especially in mouselook!

Sadly, there's no EASY way to do this... but it can be done, after a fashion.
The idea is to have an item you "sit" on that, like a vehicle, causes you to move. unlike a vehicle, this item would map your keys appropriately, and if you were in mouselook the keys would look right as well. EDIT: to clarify, this vehicle would cause - say you were walking on the ceiling - to reverse "up", and "down", as well as "left" and "right". or at a 90 degree angle, "up" would actually be a movement in the X or Y axis, etc, etc. It's a hacky solution, but it's possible through a couple of means. _____________________

what about this..
within the walls a replica of the floor/walls/ceiling that are about waist height. make them invisable.. then somehow create some sort of 'attraction' between the attachment and the invisable surfaces. not sure if it's even "do-able", but maybe it could help give an idea of something that would be. *shrug* hope this helped.. if not, i hope you get to make it.. sounds cool! ![]() _____________________

There's a funhouse like this at the Four Seasons Theme Park where you dance upside down on the ceiling by clicking on a ball. Dizzying but fun. Maybe you can check with it's owner Jvizzle Jacques
