The update ruined Targas?

Since the update, for some reason Targa files (with invisable parts) Are now 100% visable under other Targa textures, when they should be covered..

Any ideas how to stop this happening?

Could you show a clearer example? I tried it out and the alpha channel targas are working as usual.

The problems with my furries head

Try 3 spheres.. each one slightly bigger than the other like 3 layers.. the outer 2 are targas. Before the update this was 100%, but for some reason this is no longer works, and the top layer dosen't mask the middle one?

Sounds like the same alpha sorting problem that SL (and most other 3D applications) has always had. If you weren't seeing it before, it was probably just luck. It's a very common glitch with openGL apps that transparent textures interfere with eachother in this way.

Confirmed.

But the problem is even worse than you describe. I did three spheres as you mentioned but I made all three surfaces targas. I found angles where the innermost sphere is not masked by the middle sphere, and the outer sphere does not mask either middle or inner sphere.

Its still a problem.. the spheres taken a beating in the upgrade.. but for these eyes it works anyway,
