Sometimes I get this error: // Error: Error evaluating argument at position 1 in procedure "llFirst".
This thing keeps annoying me... and I would like to know why it happens. Thanks.

I've never seen that error, but I've read that it can occur in if you have no surface selected when you try to export a sculpt map. Make sure that when you hit Export, you actually have the objects you want to export selected.
If that's not what's doing it, then I have no idea.

No idea what to tell you then, sorry. Have you tried restarting your computer, restarting Maya, and then reloading the script from scratch? That's about all I can think to try. Good luck.
EDIT: Actually, I just thought of a few more things. The sculpt map exporter does not support hierarchy in any way, shape, or form. If the object is the child or parent of a group or of another object, the exporter can throw up all kinds of errors. Any object to be exported must stand on its own in the scene hierarchy. Also, make sure nothing other than surfaces are selected. So double check you haven't inadvertently selected any lights, dynamics, handles, deformers, projectors, etc. And of course, the selection should be in object mode, not component mode.

Gosh, another error happened: // Error: The undo queue is turned off.
How could I fix that?

From: Iwao Cheng What do you mean with 'Object Mode, not component mode.' ? Object mode is when you're able to select entire objects, without seeing their individual components. Component mode is when you're able to select components of objects, such as vertices, hulls, faces, etc. The buttons for activating both modes are in the Status Line (the button bar at the tiop of the screen), fourth section fr0m the left, or the hotkey to quickly toggle between them is F8. From: Iwao Cheng Gosh, another error happened: // Error: The undo queue is turned off.
How could I fix that? The Undo Queue's settings are preferences. You change them the same way you change any other global preferences in Maya, with the Preferences editor. Here's how: 1. Click Window -> Settings/Preferences -> Preferences. The Preferences editor window will open. 2. In the Preferences editor, you'll see two panes. The one on the left is labeled Categories. In it, you'll see all the different kinds of items that have preferences you can readily alter. (You can actually edit literally every aspect of Maya, if you know enough MEL. The Preferences window is for the most common stuff.) Notice it's categorized by major headings, with alphabetized subheadings underneath them. The third major heading is called Settings. Underneath it, you'll find Undo toward the bottom of the list. Click on it. 3. The right pane will now be labeled Undo: Undo Queue Settings. Here you can turn the Undo function on and off. Simply toggle it on now. You'll also see a setting called Queue size, which determines the number of actions you can undo before you can't go back any further. I don't recommend setting it to infinite, unless you only work for very short periods at a time. Pick a reasonable number. I believe the default is something like 25 or 50. When you're done, hit Save, and close the Preferences window.

Glad to hear it's working. Out of curiosity, what did the problem actually turn out to be?

Well, it sometimes works normally, it just happens when I, for example, finish a sculpt and then I create a new scene to make another sculpt, then this error happens. But when I close Maya, and open it again, it doesn't happens, so I have to keep closing and opening Maya each time I create a sculpt.

That's odd. No idea why that might be happening, sorry. But at least you have a workaround, annoying as it may be.
