Own Creation - No Copy Allowed?

Hello all :) A friend of mine created a bow using a developer kit, full perms. She gave it to me to texture for her with M/T perms set. I textured it with full perm textures and gave it back to her. She now wants to make a copy of the completed bow, but it has stayed no copy, even though she is the creator.

There are no scripts in the bow yet but even if there was a prim with no copy somewhere in the build, surely she would still be able to change the permissions being the creator? Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks.

The permissions are next owner, and you were the next owner so now the object has those permissions, you're not transferring the original object back to your friend, it's a new version.

Being the creator of an object doesn't mean anything more than that your name is displayed, it doesn't override permissions.

If she's reluctant to give you a full permission copy but you need to texture it for her then she can rez a copy and set it to "Share with group" (has to be a group you're both in obviously) or grant you mod rights.

Be mindful of the proper license usage of the textures as well if they're not your own creation.
