Limitations on Creating? What hasn't been done?

I have been thinking of things that haven't been done and what limitations one has in creating new things.
I have this ideal but I am not sure if it has already been done. I am new and learning.
I have been doing experiments with it. Its a very simple design to solve a common problem we all have but there somethings I haven't worked out.
I am not sure if its already been done before.
It has to do with inventory management related objects.
I wonder has anyone created anything like this?
What hasn't been already created here?
Thanks

Inventory management? You mean something that will automatically sort my inventory into something other than a jumbled mess? And all I have to do is just buy it and click it!! Not that I know of..........but boy would I like one. :)

Something else I haven't seen is a spiral staircase that is a single prim...........not one of those twisted ribbon things either. :)

Good luck. :)

Actually few months ago when I was new I saw 1 prim staircase at Slexchange.
The item I am testing or figure out if its worth my time is very simple devise it won't manage your entire inventory but most important things.
I am not programer and the ideal is very simple one it probably already has been done or is done in different way.
It basically away to store things you own that you want access to and don't have to search.
Not even sure anyone would buy it.
Right now its personal travel journal if you go to my shop you can get free one.
Its in experimental stages right now and I need product testers, feedback, and I sort of was vague because if unique ideal someone probably with better skills, greedier will steal design and sell it for 1500L
It is wearable and if you have already pages inside the content you can write in it but I am not sure what the limitations are of this.
You can't put folders inside content section of box.
I don't think you can put other people's items in their so for example if you had a suitcase oor backpack and want to carry someone else design in your suitcase would it allow you to put it suitcase or backpack or joe blow's granola bars or grappling iron or someone else quest related items.
What will make it unique is I will create customized one for those who buy with own names, etc.
Its currently for things important like storing links on notecards, photos and journal entries and reminders.
The only thing that I guarantee that will be unique is my textures but sadly even those can be stolen LOL

I brought this topic up because Second Life is so large and I am trying to figure out things others haven't built or created.

How about a vehicle that uses the least amount of scripting as possible?
I have an Inner tube that you sit in and it simply activates llTargetOmega to propel it :).
- Maybe a rollercoaster-type using no engine whatsoever.

How about a 32m x 32m x 128m machine that activates a whoopi cusion! :D

I will answer your question if you can answer mine.
What came first, the chicken or the egg? :p

Technically correct. Eggs from dinosaurs existed long before the first chicken evolved, so the egg actually came first.

One click easy organizer might be possible but I sure in heck don't know how to create it.
I have tried few other programs but its confusing.
I wish we at least had preview window in game like the orginal sims had or some of fan based utilities to manage content that were made by the fans Perhaps now that SL is now put certain code up to public domain maybe there were be someone who will create things to help us build, manage inventory better.
My ideal is not really unique but how I plan to do it will be. I figured though away to do it within a very small limited way of what I know and its teaching tool too.
Problem is how do you explain to someone new where the content folder tab is when it took me 3 months of building to even discover it?
