Large prims

In an (official) word no.
The largest dimensions of any of the prim shapes X, Y and Z co-ordinates are all 10.
However...... you will come across offers prepared to sell you "large" prims - these are not allowed to be used in the "normal" world, and you or I could not create then using any of the tools available to use.
However...... using "prim torture" (a lovely term) you can distort the "faces" of a regular prim in various ways, including beyond the 10 m limit - so for example, quite legally (I believe) you can create an ordinary looking "disk" shape that is 20 m across.
Now all that said, if you are planning to do regular building just get used to the 10 by 10 by 10 limit - SL provides all sorts of facilities for stretching pictures across multiple prims - so for example you can build a picture wall, with a single picture on it 30 by 30, it will take up 9 prims (each 10 by 10) but the picture manipulation (stricltly texture mapping) is a standard facility of SL building.
I suggest that if you ask questions about what you specifically would like to try and do, I am sure that people here - who are always very helpful - will give you some ideas on how best to tackle the project you have in mind.
