I'm running out of prims at home, can I increase the total number of prims a parcel can hold without adding more land?

Other parcels you own in the same sim count towards your total number of prims. The parcels don't have to be physically joined.

You can increase the number of prims but seeing if you can decrease your prim usage on items- Do you really need that 20 prim lamp? You might want to consider using 20X20 mega prims for floors and/or roof (not for everyone, but worth a look).

Good note on Mega prims, but remember excessive use of mega prims, that are not phantom can tend to make the server loose some preformance. Huge trees made from mega prims that are phantom, use less resources from the server than those that are not phantom. TRhis was tested at Dream Walker Isle with about 45 trees, when the non-phantom ones were removed the resources were much better in time frames.

Also mega prims due to recent updates have been know to have problems when rezzing things on tip of them. If you experience this create (dont drop) a prim on the mega prim athen rez the item. It will rezz with ease.

If you onw ht sim the mega prims are a great solution, if not check with the owner before placing, as LL are still up in the air on mainland sims using the mega prims and may be deleted in the future without concerne to owners. (Previously posted on Mega prim discussions).

Anything else we can help with please ask.
