Hi everyone
I would like to know if it's possible to construct a building with 3 or 4 floors and rent just one floor? Is it possible, to rent buildings in vertical?

How do I do it? How do I rent someplace?

thanks!

just read long discussion per prev. post. what i didnt see is techniques for actually renting apts. If they are on the same property will the rent bots work the same as if it was seperate lots ? Does any one have a favorite management system ?

I have one parcel with 4 sky pods with locking doors vertically arranged on it. They are spaced far enough apart that they are out of each other's chat range.

The rental boxes are on the ground, but I think I would recommend the porch/balcony.

I have a group that my renters belong to, so technically I could make them activate that group when they rez objects and enable autoreturn, but I just do manual prim control. The group does allow them to select the parcel as home.

The audio stream is controled in the spa/lobby on the ground. It depends a great deal on your tenants how well things will work.

Most rental bots (I make one system, the HippoTech system, see my picks) don't rely on being on an individual plot of land; rather they're clever accounting systems, tracking what's owed, when and by whom etc. So any of the leading rental systems should do you fine; search www.slexchange.com or the classifieds inworld for "rental box" and try and get hold of some demos.
