I want to create my own sandbox on my island. How do you do this? Are there any tutorials?

Well, go to a mainland sandbox and look at all the land settings about objects and options.
Copy them down.
Separate off a section on your island, name it to include the word Sandbox and then set everything to match the mainland sandbox.
That'd be my suggestion. (c;
