Apply a 100% alpha texture to the edges. That will eliminate most, but not necessarily all, artifacts at the prim edge.

Hi Sacyra, like Ceera said you can apply a 100% alpha texture to the sides you don't want to show a texture. I found the easiest way for me is to make the whole prim alpha (if you forgot where you put the prim after making it alpha, type Control+ALT+T to view, do that again to get out of that mode). Then edit the prim, you use the tool that says select texture...click on the side you want the clothing texture on then choose your texture. Do the select texture step for each side you want the texture on. Hope this helps

find a transparent texture, open it up, and then click on the texture and drag it onto the offending edge (u have to be really close up) and bobs your uncle, the edge has gone....
If you need a transparent texture, IM me I think the one I have is copyable.
Regards Maxx

The 'transparent' texture you are looking for is called 'totallyclear' (all one word) you can find it in most freebie texture boxes available around SL, or IM me in game and I'll drop you one.

you can also make cubes and cylinders thiner by changing to a sphere and dimple both sides then return them to a cube or cylinder. but yes the transparent edges too is what you want -LW
