I have recently learned how to make prim boots. I picked up invisibility prim public v1.1b script, and dropped it into 2 prims that are attached under the boot to hide the ugly part of the foot that shows under the heel.
I can still see my foot..
On top of that, when i open the script i get an "error: script missing from database". I read that the script should still work, but you just cant edit it that way...but I went to another shop, and picked up a different copy of the script instead...just in case. Same problem same error.
Any help? Im not sure if im missing a step or its just screwy and not working right.

Sounds like SL is having problems. If the script can't be found in the database, then of course it won't be functioning. The only way it might is if it had already assigned properties to the object before it went missing. For example, you can use a script to set the size of a prim, trash the script, and the prim will remain that size. But if you erase the script before you apply it, then of course it won't be able to do anything.
The problem will probably sort itself out in a day or so. But if it doesn't, you can find a few invisiprim scripts over on the scripting forum. Just cut and paste.

when in doubt, the cod for that script was posted by beafox xevious on scripting tips (or maybe it was scripting library)
