Anyone knows where I can get those? I've seen people have them on their lots.

Also, I am interested in simple fireplaces. Is there such a thing?

Here is a basic list of you want to do

1) Find a animated gif of fire

2) Either load up Photoshop or a gif program and count the frames in the gif

3) make a new image in photoshop that is divided into sectons all of equal sizes. So for example, if I wanted to make use a 100 pixel x 100 pixel for a frame of animation and there are four frames, then I could either make a 100x400 graphic, a 400x100 graphic, or a 200x200 graphic.

CODE

----------
| 0 | 1 |
----------
| 2 | 3 |
----------

That entire box would be one single graphic.
MAKE SURE THE GRAPHIC SIZES ARE DIVIDABLE BY 2

4) Copy and paste each frame of information into it's own sub-section in the graphic above.

5) Import into SL

6) Figure out llSetTextureAnim
It is not that hard to understand. I numbered the above box for a reason.

7) Make a thin box prim with the above script and texture. Copy the newly created prim and make it perpendicular to it so it forms a +

We sell a campfire for $25 at all our stores (see locations in my signature). We also sell a fireplace for $100 in our Luna store @ Luna 180,64

Hmm i made campfire by copying fire from birthday cake candle fire which you can get free. It animates nicely although i think i adjust it to look little bit more red.

Anyway there is one minor problem. When i did thin prim where i moved fire textures&animation scripts it shows ok from "frontside and backside". Problem is that "sides" of the prim which are very thin show small line (light texture) which is visible if you change viewing angle. I cant figure out how to fix that. AnĂ½ idea?

Sure is and it's a simple solution - use a "totally clear" texture on the edges! Find me in world if you don't have one and I'll send it to you. ;)
