I'm a newbie at this, so uh don't shoot me for my stupidity.
I recently built my own dragon avatar and still trying to think the problems with it. So far, I have had problems with the front legs, neck, particles being blocked out by the invsi-prim but most importantly, problems with the back legs.
The back feet move up and down and look like they are detached from the upper portion of the leg. I hate describing, so I attached a sloopy diagram with a few pictures to show the problem. The forset green color is attached to the spine, the teal aqua color is attached to the hip and on the right. The purple is attach to the left hip.
So far I've tried attaching the back foot to the feet, lower leg and upper leg.
Any suggestions or tips would help.

To make an effective diagnosis, I would have to see the animations you're using for this and the problem itself.

It's really a shame that we have to butcher the avatar system so much. Overriders, stock meshes, workarounds...

Argh!

No matter. For now it looks to me like you're largely having an animation and offset problem, but that's at a guess. Are you using your own animation, or did you purchase one?

Nope. No animations. Just regular walking.

Okay then. This looks to be purely an offset problem.

The best way to fix this is to use a "four-legged animation" to override your existing one. The Lindens have also mentioned that they want to allow us to change the "default" animation sequences at some point, but at the time of this writing, that's just a pipe dream.

You should be able to search these forums for ways to solve this - it's a fairly common issue.

ive got a really nice 4 legged animation override i cobbled together from various animations i found or bought and it works pretty good if you make your limbs the right size.
