Hello.

Today I spent all day constuction a house. It took forever but I finally made it though and finshed it.

Now I've run into a problem.

Please Note: I have created every singal prim by hand.

Suddenly when I pick it up, it tells me I can't Mod,Trans, or even Copy. I've tried everything and its driving my insane, can someone please help me with this issue?

Thanks for reading.

Edit: I tryed relinking the whole thing I figured out that that it links but in two big sepreat parts the lower connects but when I trys to connect with the top part it turns into that I can't do anything. And the top part connected perfectly exept for when it tryed toconnect to the lower part =\

Edit2: I have full control over the textures.

Possibly one of the prims has "corrupted". The data for that prim is messed up. I had this happen to me once on a 3,000 prim schoolhouse, where I had made every single prim and texture myself. Not pretty.

Fast search method: Usually a "bad prim" will refuse to link. So, highlight HALF the prims, and try to link them. That worked? The bad prim is in the other half. It failed, saying you don't have permission? The bad prim is in this half.

Repeat the above process to winnow down the prims, until you get to a small handful that you suspect include the bad prim. Drag-copy that batch of prims, and delete the set that you moved away from the original location. Often, even though the prim says you have bad permissions, it will still let you drag-copy, and the bad one will be replaced by a good one, with the bad one going away with the set you deleted.

Hope that helps!

If you drag a folder (or more than one) from invrntory onto a prim, that will copy or move the contents of the folder to the contents of the prim. no-copy stuff gets moved, copyable stuff gets copied. And the folder structure goes away, so if you copy three folders at once, it merges them.

Glad you figured it out!
