just trying to get this new featur to behave properly, does anybody know how you make something dangle down from something else, like a dress, mine have all just flopped out, staying still at the base rather than at the top like i want them to. thanks

As far as I can tell, you have to rotate it so that the "stiff" edge is where you want it to be. So, for a dress to hang down, you would rotate 180 degrees.

Not sure there is any other way, but would like to know if it is otherwise.

The prim flops only off of the "base" of the prim and it's pretty hard to tell what end the base is.

To correct this, the *taper* tool has been changed so that you can taper either the top or the bottom of a prim. If the dress flops the wrong way, then you can invert it as described, or you can (now) adjust the taper so that it tapers the other way.

At least that is my understanding of it.

On a side note, I think we should call them "floppy" prims, not flexi-prims, as they don't actually flex. There are many flexed and flexible shapes that are completely impossible to model with "Flexi-prims" yet 100% of things that could be called "floppy" can be modeled. Ergo they are "floppy" not "flexi."

It's going to be a long weekend for me too. Old skirts and dresses aren't going to sell the old way :(

Isn't there any way to turn around the stiff edge without moving anything?
