Foolish Frost's build in the 'new world': Aztecha
Well, I've been working hard, and have finshed my newest build in just two days, Aztecha.
Made to compliment the Linden Crash Site, I created it with the backstory in mind. Please stop by Columbia 160,40 and have a look-see. The storyline can be gotten from the notecard vendor near the temple's teleporter.
Some pictures for the SL deprived:

From: Olympia Rebus Nice work (as usual).
p.s. Keep an eye out for conquistador greifers. No gold in this build, just white marble and carved stone.

From: Vlad Pacer Nice work Foolish Frost... How did that guy like the mall you built? Loved them both. Generally, I try and use a theme that will look good on the land, and at the same time be marketable for my client's use. He needed a revenue generator for his new land, but didn't want to ruin the area with a build that either marred the waterfront or didn't 'fit' the idea of the new sims. So I built a temple based on the story of the Magellen logs, expanded it from the view of the crew of the downed airship, and added my own bit of mythology to the rest. I built the textures special for the build, and took the time to make a nice 'bowl' to hold the design in. When he saw it finished modeled, he raved about how good it looked. When he saw it textured, he said nary a word until he came back. Then: "You did this in TWO DAYS?" It was... Warming... To say the least. Now I'm just tinkering with a few extra prims adding benches and fountains... Need to make a nice fountain effect for them. Has to wait until I get back online, though... Anyway, thanks for the thumbs-up! Later,

From: someone How did that guy like the mall you built? Loved it! Everything is wonderful. Many wonderful features. It is an immersive world to come inside this build, like Indiana Jones. And immersive to fly around it and perch on it, and watch the Linden sunrises and sunsets. It's a great landmark building. I continue to be amazed at how fast this was done. It's one thing to know how slow I put on a texture when I bumble along for days struggling. But I've seen even really crack texture rustlers take days over things, and this was done REALLY fast, and the textures were home-made too. I mean, like crafted by Foolish himself, not just uploaded off random Internet images taken off google images which is what I do LOL. I would like to highly recommend Foolish Frost for anyone who is looking for an architect for their site. His builds in Ravenglass and Columbia speak for themselves, but I just wanted to add that he is a pleasure to work with, fast, reliable and efficient. He is happy to listen to suggestions and make them, and to count prims. He is new, but very skilled because he comes to the game already knowing various 3-D drawing programs and computer graphics applications. So he can rustle these things very fast. It is amazing to me to say to someone in the game, "Can you make me...." and instantly, he does it.Then I can say, "You know, I think I'd like X or Y changed..." and he comes back in seconds. He is the fastest draw in the West! What I like is that Foolish has a sense of the site and its story potential and puts in little details in the build to enhance the story. He is the only architect I've found who puts a trademark right into his buildings. I've only seen one other architect in SL make a sign that you can put on their buildings if you like, but Foolish puts his on himself, as well he should as he has a right to be proud. I think this would be a good custom to start in SL.
