What can I say, I'm a newb, but I'm pretty sure I can at least model & skin buildings, clothing, tatoos etc.. scripting will take me a while to learn.. anyways..

#1, where can I freely practice modeling buildings etc, without having objects jump to lost & found whenever they lose focus?

#2, whats the typical way a modeler sells a building? I'd prefer to simply model, and let a seller earn a commission on each sale?

any basic tips greatly apreciated.

Buy your own land, make friends with someone who might be willing to let you use theirs, or use a public sandbox. There are lots of sandboxes throughout the world. Search for them.

Pack the building inside a box or a scripted packaging device (Rez Foo is great), and then set the box for sale. You can rent retail space in a mall and/or sell on your own land. I wouldn't recommend trying to get into commissions. Sale boxes and vending machines are never late for work, they never complain, they never go out for a smoke while letting customers get away, and they let you keep all your money.
