llRezObject distance problem

I'm trying to use llRezObject to create a rather large thing....16 pieces of linked walls and such. But I'm having problems, I think because of the distance from the rezzing prim to the necessary positions of many of the pieces. What is the max distance, and how do I get around this issue?

Is there another tack I can take on this?

Thx,
Alex

You need to have scripts in the pieces so that they can move from the nearby rez position to the distant target position. I usually roll these kinds of scripts on my own, but I understand that many people use CrystalShard Foo's RezFoo to do this.

Or you can have one script and move the rezzer.

BTW, I think the distance limit on llRezObject() is 10m from the object calling llRezObject().
