zbrush+zapplink: saving the view is not enough

Hello.

I often use zbrush and zapplink to paint sculpties in photoshop. I would like to use the photoshop files where I store the intermediate steps, before I merge down every other layer I added to the one provided by zapplink.

The problem is that each time you edit a tool (the sculptie) you place it in a slightly different position and scale so that the resulting "snapshot" will not be exactly the same.

Is there a way to save the position of the edited tool or, in alternative, to place it in the exact same position and size?

Keep in mind that (at least as far as I understand, feel free to correct me)

1) saving a tool doesn't save any position or size
2) saving the document will add the tool in the 2.5-dimensional canvas and save the canvas, not the tool you are working on
3) the applink views seems to be bugged and, in any case, I'm not sure they save the position of the tool but only the way you are looking at it.

Thanks!

I have not used them much, but check out the MARKER feature. It saves an objects position, scale, and orientation for recall later.

Thanks, Vlad! I'll try the markers.

And I like your flowers.
