Hey all. Just getting into the swing of SL. At any rate, I just finished up the protype work on a "social sphere" object. It's not exactly a house, nor an arena....
The idea behind it is a sphere, in the middle of which is either a spokesperson or object. Seating + such exists on both the interior and exterior of the spherical shell, and begins to start a language of introverted/extroverted spaces.
Next up is an exterior protrusion to allow for some movement... dancing, all that madness that works so well in SL.
Anyways, this is my first break at making something that has a familiar function, yet unfamiliar form. Thoughts, critiques, etc are ALL appreciated.

You'll find a little platform @ ground level with an X marking 'the spot'. Stand on the X, and fly directly upward some 120m. The sphere is built as to channel visitors in this way.
