I make my 3D maps in Rokuro for sculpted items. All the mapped sculpties come out with the colour schemes on them from the map, normal textures will cover that without a problem. But I'd like to turn them clear, at least those intended to be glass. Up to now I've got them semi transparent, but would like frosted glass or totally clear-is this possible and how is it done please? Taxus

I'm guessing either you haven't stated your question clearly, or just maybe you've made the common mistake of not understanding how adding a sculpt map involves only the Object tab and not the Texture tab.
The only answer I expect you'd need is to, as with any prim, apply a 32-bit (alpha-channeled) glass or clear texture.

or even a solid color and just play with the transparency in the texture tab

Glass sculpty

Thank you both, I'm now kicking myself. I set the transparency to 30% clear and switched the full bright on, I'm also experimenting with a very light grey colour to get an etched glass look. Thanks for your help guys. Taxus
