hey guys i was just wondering if i could export 3d models from cinema 4d or google skech up or with any other program and if i can can some one tell me how. thank you I assume you mean can you IMPORT models from those programs into SL, not just can you export from them. The answer is no. Everything you see in SL was built directly inworld, using the building tools. Take a trip to the Ivory Tower of Primitives for an overview of how all the tools work. That having been said, you might want to check out the ingenious work that Jeffrey Gomez has done: OBJ to SL Importer - Takes every triangle from your OBJ mesh, and builds an identically sized triangular prim in its place to replicate your model in SL. Warning, this can be INCREDIBLY prim-heavy. Blender Plugin For Building Offline - allows you to build in Blender with SL-like primitives. Models built this way can be ported to SL. _____________________
