These days i saw people in the sandbox building a large ship together, together! How do i build things with others without having to transfer things i made to my partner time to time?

Thank you.

There are two ways people can work together on the same object apart from transferring the object each time someone else than the current owner wants to change something:

1. Everyone grants each other modify-rights - that's an option in your friends list and kinda risky if you don't know the other people well. Additionally, prims or objects can't be linked if they have different owners.

2. Create a new group, invite the other builders as officers and deed everything to the group. Each officer will be able to work on the objects belonging to that group as if he or she were the true owner (Note: except for locking objects, that feature will be emulated by "Share with Group" in the "General"-tab of the edit menu). Keep in mind that each object's permissions must be set correctly before the object is deeded and that each officer might be able to take copies of your work.

If you take this route, make sure that you set mod, copy, and transfer on the Next Owner permissions before you deed.

I haven't played with this in a while, but it used to be that you could easily get the object into an unusable state if you forgot to do this.

For example, if you deed an object with Next Owner set to no-mod, then after it is deeded the object becomes no mod, even for officers of the group and the creator. Deed an object with no-transfer and you can't undeed it.

Not sure if it's still this way, but test it out with a plywood cube first.

Edit: I see that Jo mentioned this, but it's worth repeating. It can be a disaster if you deed your only copy of something with the Next Owner permissions set incorrectly.
