I have attached a picture showing what Im talking about. When I import the prim, it looks like it has one vertex that has been streched out to make this weird point that I cannot get to go away. It does this for all prims I make in autodesk and important in. anyone know the solution to this?

Autodesk what? That company makes about 30 different programs. It's hard to tell from your screenshot which one you're using. Maya? 3DS Max? Something else? The answer makes a difference.
Judging by the stretching of the texture, it looks like the pole has been moved off center. How to prevent that will depend on what program you're using.

From: Pocket Pfeffer I'm getting this also...I'm using the Sloft in-word sculpt tool....I'd be very interested to know how to fix this. For sloft you need to cap the end - to cap the ends use the the first/last disc and reduce its size to .01 in all directions - make sure its on center- then nudge it to be next to the next/previous disc number - this will result in a proper/clean pole placement. If that doesn't make sense give me a shout in world and I can show you what I mean.
