Sculpties and Structure building question

Had a question concerning the use of sculpties during home contstruction.


If I build a 10 x 10 sculptie wall and place a portal in it (via the 3D Modelling program) say somewhere for a window or door, could I walk through it after that?

If I understood it well, the collision detection system actually uses a sphere prim with the size of your sculptie. So you won't have the hole where you wanted it to be. Maybe in later implementations, some work will be made around collision detection.

If we are able to convince them to use a lossless compression on low size sculptmaps, you could assemble sculpties precisely, giving space for a window/door.
