I have made some houses / buildings in 3D MAX. But is it posible to import them into SL?

And how? Because I cant find any way to do this.

For all practical purposes, they cannot be imported. All SL models have to be built using SL primitives. Both SL and a number of offline editors (include one for 3DS Max) allow you to build in SL prims. Some of your textures could probably be imported. Not the meshes though.

Those buildings? No. But you can if you build it right.

The fact that you built them "in 3D MAX" tells me that you haven't been building something directly transferable to SL (and might not have even been building shapes possible in that world). However, if what you want to do is build your SL structures without getting onto SL, that's what this thread is for. Thanks to the efforts of this one user, you can run a plugin he wrote (he calls it a "tool";) for the free Blender program, then use the Importer script he created to automatically assemble the pieces in-world.

Edit: Strangely enough I didn't notice that she already said that.

It is possible to import from more than Blender

Pemp, this is not quite true. I have developed a translator for Vectorworks (12.5 Mac OSX, 4.9) for my own use, but you wil need to redefine all your objects in such a way as can be defined within SL. I dont use 3D Studio Max but I am sure that the same principles that apply to Vecorworks will apply to 3D Studio max
