Hi, I'm fairly new to SL and am trying to build my first house. When applying texture to each prim, can i rotate the texture on it, or do i have to rotate the whole prim and then apply the texture as is? I've already built a good portion of the house, and am realizing that i've placed alot of the prims where the texture is showing vertically when i want it horizontally (like for brick, or siding). Please someone tell me that i can rotate the texture independently, so i don't have to start over!!! :\

I assume you've drag adn dropped your textures onto surfaces. For those that run the wrong direction, just click on teh surface that's incorrect, open EDIT in the pie menu. The EDIT window opens. Now click on the TEXTURE tab. YOu'll see options to 'rotate' the textures as well as others that will help you control the number of 'repeats' per face, and 'offsets'. Also, after you've rotated a texture to your liking, you can 'copy' the texture from one prim onto another. Saves doing all that manual work manually. You might want to go to the TEXTURE class. (I'm not inworld, but next time I am, I'll snag a Landmark for the free, self guided texture tutorial.)
