It is my understanding that structures are not supposed to be closer than 4m to the property line of a parcel of land. As I have been looking at possible land purchases, I have noticed some that had structures right on the land boundary. Several water parcels had included rock islands that were right on the property line.
Is my information about structures having to be 4m from the property boundary incorrect? Does this restriction exclude things like the rocks used to define an island?
Thanks for any help in advance

No such mainland restriction. May I ask where you found that information?

Elvawin Rainbow - thank you
FFRCAccounting Control - I am sorry but I don't remember. I have looked at several hundred pages of information on SL over the last few weeks and I read it somewhere. It may have been in information about restricted parcels as I have visited a number of web sites outside of SL. Sorry for the confusion and thank you for the information.
