Ghost Prims?

Is it possible that, after deleting a prim, the physics engine still thinks it's there?

I've created a large build, over 100 prims (some huge prims), made up of several linked sections. There's an elevator shaft at the rear.

Today I noticed when I step into the shaft on the second floor, it's as though I'm still standing on a solid prim.

What's more, I'm pretty sure the 'phantom shape' corresponds to an elevator car I was attempting to script yesterday before deleting it.

To be sure some eccentric property of the build isn't to blame (like the boundaries of path cut prims doing strange things to the physics engine? ), I selected the entire build and drag-copied it 200 metres up. When I stood in the elevator shaft of the copy, I fell to the bottom. So it can't be something to do with the build. Can it?

Never mind. I should have used better search keywords before posting. ;)
