Sculptie Ice

Hiya!

I'm trying to make Sculptie Ice but it just isn't working! Does anyone have any tips? Which would be a good program to do this?

can you elaborate further asto this 'ice'? do you mean it's sculpt map form itself, or function(s) and material properties?
I've done ice with sculpties, and (with helpful tips from the forums),melting ice (done by morphing with a set of sculpt maps).

I want to make a sculpt map to make it look like a cooler is full of Ice.

Here's what I'd suggest. Sculpt the cooler (easy enough), and then rather than sculpting a million individual ice cubes, simply put a flat horizontal plane inside the cooler with a picture of ice cubes on it. If you create the texture well, the effect could be quite convincing. Maybe sprinkle a very small amount of sculpted ice cubes here and there just to make it pop a little.

For the texture, I'd probably head to the grocery store, spend a couple dollars on a a bag of ice and a Styrofoam cooler, and then snap an overhead photo of it. A little cleanup in Photoshop afterwards, and it will be one kick-ass ice texture.
