Recently, I am having this problem : while building for example a house I can see the insides of a wooden block or a nearby block protruding through the other. I am applying the same texture to all the blocks by "select texture" and then regulating its direction. Is it because of the texture? Parts of the house keep turning invisible or half hidden depending on how I zoom in on it....Its so frustrating. If someone had a similar problem or has an idea to solution, please help! Thank you so much in advance!

You're using 32bit textures. If you don't need transparent areas in the textures then they should be imported into SL from a 24bit source.

Had the same problem in earlier days when I built a structure an textured it with 'Marble'. Eventually a kind person explained all about the problems with the rendering of textures with an Alpha channel. If the texture you are using does not need transparency (and you have permissions) try downloading to your HD and re-saving it as a 24 bit TGA to 'kill' the Alpha.
