Alright, I'm fairly sure I already know the answer to this, but I'm going to ask anyway....
Does anyone know of a way to incorporate a "two-way mirror" effect, whereas from the inside of the building (in this case), the walls are transparent, but from the outside, all that appears is the brick texture? Ok, I suppose this would be more a two-way brick kind of situation, but it illustrates my question.

That is exactly what I am doing that I was asking in another thread about. You can change the texture on any face of a prim individually, just click the "Select Texture" radio button and choose the face you want to work with.
