This has to have been asked before but I'm not finding it in search. I'm working my way through Aimee Weber's book on advanced content creation (and learning a lot from it). But here's one problem I have that she doesn't seem to cover: joining walls at a 90 degree so that the textures align perfectly. With thick walls -- perhaps this is my mistake -- there is always one side or the other that has it's thickness showing, and that goofs up the textures. Is the answer to build with very thin walls or....? You can always change the scaling/offset for textures to line up, depending on the detail of the texture.

If the walls are the same shape, then you can turn off the 'stretch texture' box in the top of the build window, and copy one wall, angle, ans then resize to fit your needs. Generally this should be enough, and when coupled with offset, rotation, etc, it should always be enough for same-shape walls. (Rectangle/triangle/etc)

There are a couple of suggestions. First, I don't like building with really thin walls, the thinner the wall, the harder it is to hide errors and fudge things. I go with .5 on walls, floors and ceilings. There are two primary ways you can solve this: 1) Create a Miter Joint. Use the taper settings to bring the inside face of the wall inward so that you are matching up two 45 degree cuts on the ends. Starting with a standard cube: X - 10.00 Y - 10.00 Z - .500 This gives you what looks like a platform, but we will now flip it up to become a wall. Taper X .10 This tapers one face of wall, this will be your inside face. Copy the prim, rotate, and match up the two angled ends. Wash, rinse, repeat. 2) Butt Joint. Quick and easy technique if you have a repeating texture that will blend. Just put your two wall prims at a 90 degree angle and align them. On the .5 face of the prim, adjust your texture repeat to blend in with the adjacent wall.
