OK, so I am building this canal on my land, and I am having touble with the water. I see water all over SL that is seamless and flowing.
I can only make an item that is 10x10x10, color it and put a water movement script in it, and that looks nice, but when I begin to line them up, it is very easy to see that they are pieces and not a whole.
My questions are: 1) Is all the water I am seeing in SL (even that in swimming pools and ponds) made up of multiple prims, and 2) If not, how can I learn how to make larger bodies of wate?
Thanks again in advance to this community, because I have gotten mucn help already. Hope to be able to return the favor someday. :-)

The problem you're experiencing is most likely due to the texture animations starting at different times, which throws off the tiling of the textures. Try this:

- Setup all your prims, and texture them
- Add your texture anim script, and set it to Not Running, so that the textures remain still
- Once you've got them all in place, select all pieces, and set the scripts to Running in the Tools menu

Using this method, they should all start animating at the same time (or with very minimal delay), and fix that problem you're having.

Just a hunch...

I resynch my waterfall by selecting all the prims, doing a shift-drag to create a copy, and deleting the original. The new copy of the waterfall is in the original's place with all the animations synchronized.

Combing both of your feedback helped to get the job done. Thank you.
