Ok, im building a shoe and i had never imagined it would be so difficult. I built the one side perfectly, but i cant get the other half to look exactly the same. I tried using a script for it, but i dont know how to make it do what i want to, and i think its too difficult for me to figure out since im not a script genius.

Is there a mathmatic way to find what the rotation degrees should be to flip a prim around and have it be perfectly symmetrical? Im desperate, ready to throw this shoe in the trash bin cause its driving me crazzzy!

thanks:)

I'm trying to build shoes also so thanks for asking this question. I'd also appreiciate any other tips for making high heels look good, etc.

When you say one side, are you referring to one shoe vs. the other (right and left shoes)? I just make one, then copy it and adjust it to the other foot.

Don't throw it out yet :) We'll figure out a way to get it done!

If you could post a snapshot, that would really help in understanding where you're having a problem...and hopefully we can offer some advice.

ok, heres a snapshot. the side circled is the one im having trouble finishing, the side on the right is already done, i want to make the left side look symmetrical with that. basically just flipping it around, like mirroring it .

Yeah, in regular 3d modeling programs on can mirror vertices... That shoe looks great btw.
