When using a hollowed, cut cube with the resulting belveled ends to make walls for a house. Would there be problems just overlapping the joints (shoving one end into the other), when connecting one wall in line to another?

If they have textures on them, they will flicker horribly on the outside where they overlap. If they're flat shaded (preferably white- and one builder does this to good effect) then you'll get away with it.
I'm assuming you're mooshing the point ends of the hollow cubes into each other.
