Hi There, I'm letting a friend borrow a small piece of my land. When he tries to set this property as his home location it wont let him. I'm still the property owner, but hes going to be the one building on it. Is there something were missing thats not allowing him to set my property as his home?

What I do is stand where I want to land and create a landmark and title it Home or whatever. Not sure if there is another way if he doesn't own the land.

Create a group in which you're the officer and he and one other avatar (possibly an alt if either of you have one) are members (NOT OFFICERS!). Deed some land to the group. It doesn't have to be the whole parcel, you can split off a minimal sized square as a new parcel for his home location.
You should still have all the same rights, but he will have some too... and can set home there.
the reason for the third person is that for some bizarre reason LL doesn't allow groups with only two people to exist.
