Hey everybody,
Just a stupid question... Is there an easy way to scale a construction of linked objects? Some of the objects to wear are just to big.
Cheers,
Amiryu

You can scale linked items, but the whole linkset has to be scaled proportionally. You can't scale in one dimension only. * Highlight the linkset. * In the edit window, select the 'streach' option. You should see small white boxes appear near the corners of a rectangular box that could enclose the object. * Drag one of these white squares to re-size the linkset. I use this a lot to adjust the fit of prim hairstyles. If any object in the linkset reaches it's minimum size in any dimension, you can't keep reducing the rest. So, for example, if you had flames for a fireplace, and the fire prims were 0.01 thick, you can't make it smaller. If it was 0.02 thick, you could reduce it to 1/2 the current size. The same limiting factor applies for making linksets bigger. If any part exceeds 10 meters in any direction, expanding stops. Drag slowly when resizing complex linksets, or the parts might not all scale by the same factor. Best to do it to a copy, if you can, so the original isn't screwed up. Of course, you must have 'modify' rights to the linkset to scale it's size.
